Day 8 Pallanza to Bellagio

Short 100 mile drive and Car Ferry today, something new (well in the car anyway), with Jan saying "How long will it take for the crossing! Very short memory as our Jan!

Then with the Nabbs Nav at full throttle, we drove via Varese towards Milan and eventually headed further north towards Lago Bellagio and Lecco, where we picked up the lake road and drove up to Bellagio itself.

B&B Miralago was our point of call for this leg, where the Mini's were safely parked up in front of the building, before we headed up the steps (no not the 39, try 300 to the top of the hill (and again Mike was in full Kate Bush mode again...)

Bellagio town does not disappoint, you could tell that from the amount of Americans that were walking around muttering words like "Geee" and "Wow" (Phil & Bev, you dont count on this one as at least you can string more than a few words together to make a sentence!).

Then back to check in and take in the scenery from the balconies...

After a few hour's chillin' and Steve & Jan trying to re-create scenes from Aquaman in the lake, we hesded out to dinner.. Step count getting a work-out today (12,000 at this stage), Steve in his new shorts and top that they had bought from the market in the morning.

He was happy that he found a matching car for his outfit.

To be honest, he looks like a hairdresser anyway... why? because he's worth it!

The Nabbs's remembered a great restuarant they had been to 16 years previous and we had a table for 7pm, but before that a bar for a quick drink.

With dinner over, whilst the Nabbs's headed back to the ranch. the intrepid few walked down to the front to find a bar and a few more drinks before wondering back to the B&B.
