The final installment of the blog! aahhh collective sigh, tears and grimaces!

We started out with our short trip up the coast today to the Eurotunnel Terminal, where we checked in and quickly got some provisions for the final journey!

We Andy thinking he was Special ! (driving down the disabled lane!) then having to reverse all the way back up it this morning, things started to go from bad to worse!

Firstly Arthur had a probe! We were singled out for special treatment by the Douanes and Aruther went through the equivaluent of a car wash scanner, before we could get back into the main queues! What they were hoiping to find in a little mini, other than Andy's missing pants (which we now firmly beleive, some luck person has discovered in Metz!) Having checked the News, there was a major alert in Northern France, but that couldnt have been anything to do with us?? could it??

Anyway, back on the train and under the English Channel, we touched down on UK soil around 10am this morning, where we experienced UK traffic at its best up the M20 and M25, that drained every last E10 petrol out of Arthur, so a quick stop in High Wycombe for some last top ups, and up the M40 towards Oxford and our final leg towards Shipston.

We heard from Jane and Steve, who had already was Leroy (the alcholic mini!) and were contemplating the For Sale notice.

One Careful Lady Owner, Low Mileage but drinks a lot (So does the Car!)

Tracy and I touched down in Shipston around 1:30pm, leaving Mike and Helen to drive the extra 20 mins to Pebworth.

Susie, was last seen putting he tyres up outside the house!

Arthur is not on the drive and contemplating his next big adventure.

p.s Arthur is getting some new wing mirro covers after the Hailstorm incident!

Highlights, too many to think about!

Lowlights, catching a cold for Andy for 3 x days, but getting over it enough to carry on.

As Micheal Caine says at the end of the Italian Job move... "Hang on Lad's I've got a great idea!"

This was the Self Preservation Society

Andy & Tracy in Arthur

Steve & Jan in Leroy

Mike & Helen in Susie

and we blew the bloody doors off.
