Today we started out, opening the windows at the Hotel Miralago at 7am to be greeted by 26% degree heat already..."hmmm - I thought, today's could be as the Fast Show used to say EL SCORCHIO!.

A good discussion on "DIPSTICKS and the fact that Leroy needed a circumcision", Mike took on the task, with Jan not bearing to look; a switch clip with the clippers, and the dodgy dipstick was NO-MORE! Then a bit bush tidying around the stem, then he was readyt for a few more thousand miles!

With Squadron Leader still feeling a little rough, Tracy took over as driverr in Arthur this morning, we headed into Bellagio centre to catch the ferry across Lake Como toward Cadenabbia.

Then on ito the hills through towards Lugano, only really a few short 30 miles today. Bit of switch back drivring and then towards a pit stop at the Funicula.

By the time we got to the funicular the temp had soared to around 33% and like a scene from the Wizard of Oz, we all looked as if we were melting.

What was needed was a short hop up "yet another mountain!" to cool down a touch and for people at 10:30 am (no names mentioned JAN!) had a few beers..

Cooled down and refreshed we headed back to the cars and a a trip through Lugano town, being re-directed around our route "Thanks to a Ukrainian Support Congress!", we ended up dropping into an undergroud car park and out the otherside! Some nice Police women, who really must of upset someone, we directing traffic with gusto around the town.

So we arrive at the Hotel (more like to Hostel in SAW!) and get ourselves down to the dock (Mike was singing some Otis Redding number) as we all jumped into Lake x 3 for a swim and a cool down.

A few blissfgul hours sunbathing and swimming, Mike got bored! (petulant kid!) we went for a short walk to get a beer and some early dinner.

And then onto Jan's report on the toilets!

Finally after yet another Pizzeria was negotiated a walk around the front to the public lido and yet another bar for a quick drink, observing the Russian nannies with their charges enjoy dinner.

Early to bed to recharge the batteries, only to be woken up around midnight with the most horrendouse storm kicking in!

Tomorrow could be a bit MOIST!
